A part-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide specialized care for preschool-aged children in an early childhood school setting. This contract role supports a 1 : 1 caseload involving students who require tracheostomy and ventilator support. The position operates Monday through Thursday, 8 : 20 AM to 12 : 45 PM, totaling approximately 18 hours per week, with no Fridays included.

• Dekalb, IL
• Part-time, 4.5 hours per day, Monday-Thursday
• Contract duration : ASAP through Extended School Year (ESY)

• Provide skilled nursing care to preschool students in a 1 : 1 capacity
• Assist with trach and ventilator care
• Transport student by bus daily, meeting them at home and accompanying them to the preschool building
• Collaborate with school staff and designated supervisory personnel such as paraprofessionals, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (LPNs will not be considered)
• Experience working with pediatric or early childhood populations
• Ability to manage complex medical equipment including tracheostomy and ventilators
• Comfortable performing nursing duties both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Virtual format via Zoom with a panel or casual interview style
