American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Float Pool
- Cardiac Telemetry night shift position requiring ICU experience and current IL licensure.

• Float Pool position covering Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU and ICU units
• 13-week assignment on night shift (7:00P - 7:30A)
• Floating required to Medical Surgical as needed
• Extensive cardiac experience required

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ICU experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required
• COVID vaccination required

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and policies
• Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient plans of care including patient and family instruction
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of patient care
• Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalates concerns through appropriate channels
