What You Will Do- Support Materials function by reviewing delivery timelines according to plan
- Track and record all incoming shipments and material transactions
- Liaise with other departments such as production, procurement, and sales to understand material needs & material flow
- Identify risks to material “on time delivery” and escalating to appropriate stakeholders
- Implement corrective actions to delivery timeline when indicated
- Review changes in material and product regulations across all relevant markets and update products & systems accordingly
- Work closely with engineering, legal, quality assurance and other teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing with a focus on materials
- Understanding of product safety regulations, material science, and industry standards strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze complex information, conduct risk assessments, and develop solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work in online databases to query and disseminate information
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel
- Able to collaborate and work in a team setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with various teams and explaining complex requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities independently
Pay Range: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
Compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, education and other job‑related factors in accordance with internal pay structure. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements- You must be able to commute to and from Rockford, IL, with your own transportation.
- Shop floor environment: may include extensive walking and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements: Zero travel required.
Citizenship requirement: U.S. citizenship required.
