Quality Technician | Rockford, MI
Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality data accurately.
- Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment and tools according to schedule.
- Manage non-conforming materials, including identification, segregation, and disposition.
- Conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Generate quality reports and analyze data using statistical process control (SPC) tools.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA).
- Experience performing detailed inspections and conducting various product tests.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience participating in or conducting internal audits.
- Basic operation or programming experience with CMMs or other automated inspection equipment.
