Customer Service Associate

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive and unload merchandise, restock shelves
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and floors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail, hospitality, or grocery customer service experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills

This is a part-time position located at 501 N Springfield Ave, Rockford, Illinois 61101. The pay range is $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. The role is entry-level and classified as part-time in the retail industry.
