Job Responsibilities- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory, calling on HCP offices and mental health community centers in-person and virtually.
- Use the assigned budget effectively to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, sharing information with internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identify and select appropriate programs and resources.
- Work with Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing best practices.
- Accountable for timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
- Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.
- Complete all company and job-related training within required timelines.
- 2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers; patient‑centricity essential.
- High integrity, compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
- Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent decision‑making judgment, and strong teaming/collaboration skills.
- Track record of success in learning and adapting to evolving environments.
- Agile and adaptable to changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives; diagnose performance issues and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
- Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours; some domestic travel required.
Salary range: $98,000 - $155,000.
