Job OverviewDo you consider yourself a hunter? Are you a driven, outgoing individual ready to grow your sales career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sales Engineer to prospect and engage customers in an exclusive, protected sales territory. You will develop new business, retain and grow existing accounts, build client relationships, and drive sales results.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and close new business with new and existing customers.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
- Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs, provide solutions, and develop estimates and proposals.
- Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines presented by the company.
- Utilize (CRM) for all prospecting and customer activities.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous outside sales experience with manufactured equipment is preferred.
- Strong professional communication and presentation skills.
- Innovative approach to problem‑solving and ability to thrive in a results‑based environment.
- Effective closers.
- Mechanical/technical aptitude preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM software.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable automobile transportation, and current auto insurance.
Range: $48k–$60k base + commissions & business allowance.
