Security Officer - Aero Patrol in Rockford, IL will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location. This is a driving post, where you will conduct mobile patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. What You ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, issues, or concerns observed during patrols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuations or other site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
