Security Officer - Part Time - Warehouse

Position:
Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Rockford, IL
. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming and secure environment on site.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, maintaining awareness of activity and reporting concerns as appropriate.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document and report any unusual occurrences, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Pay rate: $21.59 / hour.

Job Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
