School Social Worker in Carpentersville, IL. Pedia Staff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We’re currently seeking a dedicated School Social Worker ($52–$55/hr) to support our elementary school in the Carpentersville, IL area for the 2025‑2026 school year.

Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Social Work.
- Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with the social work endorsement.
- FBA/BIP experience needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
As a School Social Worker, you’ll provide critical support to students. You’ll collaborate with another social worker to address students’ social‑emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Job Details- Dates: ASAP through SY 25‑26.
- Hours:
7:30‑3:00 daily (7.5 hours with a 30‑min unpaid lunch). - Setting:
Elementary School (K‑5th grade). - Caseload:
Small and manageable. - In‑person only.
- Note that there are two other SWs in the building.
- Provide individual and group social work services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
