Boys Volleyball Assistant Coach (25/26 Season

Guide student athletes in skill, discipline, sportsmanship, and citizenship while overseeing the in with NFHS, IHSA, and RPS #205 policies.

• Ensure actions align with Board policies, mission, and strategic plan.
• Participate in training and professional growth opportunities.
• Perform duties related to effective work environment.
• Plan, schedule, and communicate practice and competition strategies to promote athlete health and success.
• Coordinate fundraisers, account deposits, and fund distribution per Board policy.
• Manage distribution and collection of uniforms and sport‑specific inventory.
• Ensure student athletes comply with district requirements: physicals, conduct, fees, academic eligibility, and handbook standards.
• Model sportsmanship, citizenship, and teamwork values.
• Assist with selection of assistant and volunteer coaches.
• Supervise student athletes during related activities and events.
• Maintain individual and team statistics and records.
• Plan and implement seasonal awards recognition program in the building athletic office.
• Engage in sport‑specific professional development education.
• Implement instructional fundamentals for feeder programs, coordinating with strength and conditioning coach.

• Valid Illinois Teacher’s Certificate and/or meets IHSA Coaching Criteria – 2.070.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
