Under the supervision of the Corporate Transportation, Plant Manager or a designated Supervisor / Manager and according to corporate policies and procedures is responsible for operating Company owned, leased or rented trucks and tractor trailer equipment, including performing all D.O.T. required safety inspections, maintenance of driver logs and trip reports, bills of lading and delivery receipts and fuel and repair receipts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Maintain current CDL license and medical card.
- Maintain schedules per verbal instructions and posted delivery schedules.
- Perform DOT required vehicle inspections.
- Peforms driving duties as required to complete job, perform loading and unloading as required.
- Complete driver logs and trip reports.
- Report accidents and violations as required by DOT and company policy.
- Perform paperwork as required by bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Weigh scale and adjust axle weights on tractors and trailers.
High School or equivalent GED preferred.
Two verifiable years experience in equipment type.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:CDL driver’s license.
DOT Medical Certificate.
Subject to Pre-employment, random and post accident DOT drug testing, and MVR.
More than two (2) moving violations, or maximum four (4) points as listed in the Ring Can MVR Policy will disqualify and applicant.
Abilities Required- Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.

- Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines.
- Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately.
- Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.

Pay Range:
$23.60 - $34.65
