Work schedule:

Day shift 4/10, weekdays (7:00am - 5:30pm). Must be available for mandatory on‑call rotation.

Salary range: $22.00/hr – $30.00/hr (based on skills, experience and education).

• Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time.
• Read, understand, and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Comply with other requests from the immediate supervisor.
• Perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Work with operations and maintenance on repairs to equipment that include but are not limited to replacement of mechanical seals, installation and alignment of rotating equipment, repairs to fans and blowers, repairs to reciprocating, centrifugal and screw compressors and pumps, and basic rigging and flagging.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read and write legibly.
• Preferably at least a 2‑year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Mechanical/Industrial or two years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Relevant papermill experience in lieu of direct maintenance experience would be considered.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team without supervision.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace, remain stable under pressure, and stay organized while adhering to safety rules and regulations.
• Must be safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork oriented.
• Must be willing and flexible to work overtime for coverage, even on short notice.
• Must be willing to participate in teamwork, procedure, health and safety work teams, and problem‑solving projects.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs in a stretching manner; position involves frequent lifting, bending, climbing steps, and prolonged standing.
• Must have own tools.
