Job Description

Job Description

$45-$50/hr DOE + OT | Data Center

This isn't slow work. This isn't punch-list work. This is fast-paced, mission-critical data center construction in East Rockingham — big schedules, big expectations, and no room for sloppy work.

Nexus Dynamic is looking for a BMS/EPMS Installation Foreman who can run a crew, run a plan, and run it safely.

We move fast. We do NOT cut corners on safety or our people. You set the tone in the field — production, quality, and getting your crew home the same way they showed up.

Can you do this?

  • Lead a crew of installers/techs installing BMS and EPMS systems — controls, sensors, controllers, metering, low-voltage cabling, terminations
  • Read drawings, lay out work, plan your day/week, and stay ahead of other trades and the GC
  • Hold the line on quality — if it's not right, we don't bury it
  • Run daily huddles, toolbox talks, and safety checks — and shut it down if it's not safe
  • Track manpower, material, progress, and issues — and communicate early, not late
  • Coordinate in a live, fast-moving data center environment

What it takes:

  • Proven experience in controls / BMS / EPMS installation
  • Proven experience leading crews in the field — you’ve been the go-to, not just on the tools
  • Data center construction experience — you know the pace, the standards, and the scrutiny
  • Strong safety mindset and pride in taking care of your crew
  • Ability to read prints, specs, and submittals and turn them into a work plan

License — required:

You must hold one of the following North Carolina licenses (NCBEEC) and be eligible to be listed as a Qualified Individual:

  • SP-FA/LV — Special Restricted Fire Alarm / Low Voltage Electrical Contractor License, OR
  • Limited, Intermediate, or Unlimited Electrical Contractor License

OSHA 30 is a strong plus.

The offer:

$45-$50/hr depending on experience, with OT. Real work, real hours, and a company that backs its foremen.

If you're a foreman who can push pace without pushing people past safe — we want to talk.

If you're looking for slow, easy, and hide-out-till-Friday — this isn't it.
