Pre‑K Behavior Day Treatment - Special Education Teacher
Regional School Unit 13 – South School, Rockland, ME.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver specially designed instruction in multiple content areas.
- Supervise special education technicians delivering such instruction.
- Support students with behavioral needs in multiple settings in‑district and in the surrounding community.
- Collect and utilize data to inform interventions and instruction.
- Complete special education documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Applicants must have the appropriate education, background, experience, CHRC, and be eligible for Maine Department of Education certification (#282b endorsement).
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, willingness to seek nontraditional solutions to issues, ability to build positive relationships with students, and willingness to collaborate with parents, special educators, regular educators, service providers, and administrators as appropriate.
