We are seeking experienced Welders! Positions are available on second shift.
Shift schedule:
Second shift is 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday – Thursday. NEW:
Second shift includes a 10% shift differential.
How You Will Contribute
Perform set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written job instructions or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high quality weldments and blades for the company’s lines of commercial snow and ice control products. Actively participate in a team environment. Perform designated maintenance functions, assume ownership for quality of weldments, participate in training, perform daily 6S activities, and maintain safety standards.

Starting pay $19.00 per hour with wages increased based on experience and skill! We also offer a $1/hour bonus for perfect attendance and an additional 10% of your hourly rate added for 2nd Shift.

How You Will Make a Difference
- Maintain good housekeeping and 6S.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules.
- Produce quality welded components to daily production requirements.
- Scrap reduction and quality control.
- Ability to work within a group to achieve team goals.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Follow Douglas Dynamics’ rules regarding work and conduct.
- Timely preventive maintenance.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
What This Role Needs
Education:
Welding Technology Degree or Welding Technical Diploma desirable, but not required.
Experience:
2 years welding experience preferably in a production setting desired. Strong basic math skills and ability to read blueprints are required. Robotic welding experience is highly desirable.
