Controller – Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Controller to direct the accounting operations of the company, including timely and accurate financial reporting, maintenance of accounting records, monitoring of internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and management of key accounting functions.
Base Pay$120,000 – $130,000 per year

- Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Evaluate and manage risk, analyze complex financial data, and extract and define relevant information.
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and regulatory agency reports.
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Master's degree or CPA preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including Month‑End Close.
- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
