Job Overview

Join Athena Health Care Systems as an Admissions Coordinator at the South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland. This full‑time role requires 32 hours per week, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (including Fridays). Pay is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Base Pay Range

$22.00/hr – $26.00/hr

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of all admissions to the facility.
  • Represent the facility positively and professionally to potential residents, families, hospitals, and other referral sources.
  • Ensure compliance with facility Privacy Practices policies and educate residents and families as needed.
  • Coordinate admission activities and documentation with all relevant departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the facility and community groups and agencies.
  • Support the implementation of the facility marketing plan.
  • Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques (public speaking, community workshops, cold calling, facility events, media coverage, etc.).
  • Maintain the budgeted census mix.
  • Ensure detailed completion of all admission, discharge, and transfer records, manually and electronically.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to prospective residents and families to facilitate successful placement.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or assisted‑living facility.
