Up to $50 an hour with weekly pay. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus available.*

South Shore is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem openings.

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. You will also participate in the clinical team process, provide teaching and training to caregiver staff, and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required.

• Screen patients/residents and evaluate them to develop appropriate care plans
• Provide direct resident treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process
• Monitor efficiencies and document activities in a timely manner
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor
• Comply with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active and unencumbered PT license in Massachusetts required
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care
• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
