Schedule: Flexible — Weekday, Evening, and Weekend Courses
Pay: $25–$35 per hour (Based on experience and course taught)

California Dental Educators is an approved provider by the Dental Board of California, offering hands‑on, in‑person training courses to help dental assistants earn certifications and advance their careers. Our mission is to empower dental professionals with the skills, confidence, and credentials they need to succeed.

We are currently seeking experienced, motivated, and dependable dental professionals to join our team of part‑time instructors. If you’re passionate about education and mentorship, we want to hear from you!

Depending on your qualifications and availability, instructors may teach one or more of the following:

• 8‑Hour Infection Control
• Radiation Safety
• Coronal Polishing
• Pit and Fissure Sealants
• Orthodontic Assistant (OA)
• General Chairside Assisting

• Deliver Dental Board‑approved course content in a professional, engaging, and student‑centered manner
• Supervise students during lab, pre‑clinical, and clinical activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards
• Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and exams
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, evaluations, and exam results
• Provide timely, supportive communication and feedback to students
• Collaborate with course directors and staff to ensure smooth course delivery

Required:

• Current and active California RDA license held for at least 2 years
• Valid Pit and Fissure Sealant Certificate
• At least 2 years of recent chairside dental assisting experience
• Current BLS certification
• Instructional knowledge of:
  • 8‑Hour Infection Control
  • Coronal Polishing
  • Radiation Safety
  • Pit and Fissure Sealants
  • Orthodontic Assisting
  • General Chairside Assisting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with hands‑on, lab‑based instruction
• Passion for teaching and mentoring future dental professionals

Preferred:

• Prior teaching, training, or presentation experience
• Completion of Dental Board‑approved methodology teaching courses
