Our primary care and walk-in care practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, promoting wellness, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care services including preventive care, routine check-ups, and health screenings.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging studies, and EKGs.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses and adherence.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development activities.
- Provide urgent care services for walk-in patients with minor injuries and illnesses during designated hours.
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Completion of residency training in Family Medicine.
- Excellent clinical skills and bedside manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting wellness.
- Willingness to participate in continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred but not required.
