Trident Consulting is seeking a “Service Now Software Engineer”. A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Service Now Software Engineer

Location: Rocklin, CA 95765 - 4 days onsite per week from Monday to Thursday, Friday WFH

Type: Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hr.

• Operational support across Service Now, focusing on CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM Discovery modules.
• Someone who can Provide reference example and outcome of what they accomplish in some of the module like CMDB, ITOM Discovery

You will be a part of the Business Workflow Automation team responsible for turning product requirements into designs, developing implementation plans, developing integrations and automated initiatives for both On-cloud and On-premise platforms. In the Software Engineer role, you will be responsible for the development of the service management framework, workflows, event management workflows, and business application workflows as well as integrations and tools capabilities.

You will be at the forefront of IT Operations transformation, delivering cost savings, productivity gains, and user experience improvements. We are looking for a talented, driven, energetic individual to help accelerate our efforts, deepen team skills and be an integral part of our solutions-centric culture.

• 4+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry preferred
• 2+ years coding Service Now features or similar platforms preferred
• Experience with ITIL Foundation level and other frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT beneficial
• Experience with Web Services, API’s, Database-level integrations/ETL
• Experience in driving design and strategy around tools
• Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other technologies
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical development roles
