Rocklin UNFI is looking for qualified Order Selectors for the warehouse.

Shift Details

• 1:15 PM shift (4x10’s)
• Union, benefits, incentive pay, 3 days off
• Sundays are mandatory

Shift Information

• Overtime as needed, sometimes mandatory.
• Sundays are mandatory.
• 2 days back-to-back off during the week and Saturdays always OFF always.
• Mainly dry foods, some fridge/freezer work – must be ok with a chill environment.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Operate a double pallet jack throughout the warehouse.
• Select cases and apply pick labels.
• Obtain work assignments.
• Work in a fast distribution center environment.
• Stack cases onto pallets.
• Inspect equipment and fill out inspection checklist.
• Clean work area.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Experience Required

• Minimum one year warehouse experience required.
• Experience with rider pallet jack, electric pallet jack or similar.

Skills/Abilities

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
