An established CPA firm in the DMV is seeking a well-rounded Tax Manager to manage business and individual tax engagements, provide proactive planning, and develop lasting client relationships.

With decades of experience, the firm supports individuals and business owners through tax, accounting, and advisory services. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied client portfolio and working closely with firm leadership.

• Manage tax compliance and planning for businesses and individuals.

• Prepare and review S corporation, partnership, C corporation, and individual returns.

• Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide practical guidance.

• Review staff work, mentor junior team members, and oversee engagement deadlines.

• Serve as a primary contact for clients and research complex tax matters.

• 5+ years of recent tax experience within a CPA firm.

• Strong generalist experience across business and individual taxation.

• Experience reviewing returns, managing engagements, and supervising staff.

• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.

• CPA preferred; multistate tax experience is a plus.

• Base salary up to $125,000
