Location

This is a hybrid position. Must live in commutable distance to White Flint, MD/ Rockville, MD.

Description

OBAN Corporation is seeking HR Specialists to support a federal agency client. The HR Specialists will be part of a new centralized shared services model team. Responsibilities will include HR support in:

  • Non-executive performance management and awards
  • Retirement and benefits processing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience within a federal agency environment.
  • Experience working with federal HR performance management, awards, retirement, and benefits processing.
  • Working knowledge of federal HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), human resources information systems (HRIS) and other relevant software.
  • Experience working in a shared services model team is a plus.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance.
