The Cement Mason, also known as a Concrete Finisher, plays a crucial role in the construction industry. They are responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces for various construction projects.
Qualifications- Must possess in-depth knowledge of various concrete mixes, materials, and applications.
- Proficiency in working with various hand and power tools, such as trowels, floats, edger's, and concrete mixers.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be eligible for and maintain a Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Preparing the work site:
Setting up safety equipment, such as scaffolding and tripods. - Laying out the work:
Using blueprints and drawings to calculate materials and position forms and patterns. - Pouring and finishing concrete:
Using hand and power tools to place and finish concrete surfaces. - Applying sealants and toppings:
Applying waterproofing compounds, colors, grits, and epoxy overlays. - Inspecting and cleaning:
Ensuring the work is installed correctly and cleaning surfaces before work. - Monitoring:
Keeping an eye on construction operations and the effects of weather on curing concrete. - Saw cutting control joints.
- Writing reports:
Keeping records and writing reports.

The salary range for this role will be $28.90 - $45.00.
