Veterinarian Surgeon

Blue Pearl in Rockville, MD is seeking a full-time, boarded Veterinarian - Surgeon or individuals who have completed surgery residency training to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty pet hospital.

The surgery department is a busy service that is expanding, requiring two additional surgeons. Join our team alongside a board-certified surgeon and highly qualified, dedicated surgery technicians, including a VTS in anesthesia. Our hospital is equipped with up-to-date technology, including a scope for minimally invasive procedures.

Our hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and a wide variety of specialty services, including Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and more. We collaborate with board-certified Neurologists and Cardiologists, and foster a collaborative environment through monthly doctor rounds and in-house CE opportunities.

The facility is 33,000 square feet, housing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools such as an MRI, 64-slice CT, ultrasound, minimally invasive scoping equipment, an ER isolation unit, and an in-house Idexx reference laboratory. Located conveniently with ample free parking, we aim to be the premier facility for advanced veterinary care in the Maryland-Washington D.C. area.
