Summary

Description:

Under general supervision of the Business and Post-Secondary Partnerships Unit, assists in developing and implementing business/community partnerships for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and teaches the College/Career Research and Development (CCRD) career pathway program. Work involves direct contact with central office administration, business leaders, school administrators, teachers, parents, and students to identify and deliver program activities supporting student success and transition into post-secondary experiences.

As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job. Special Requirements:
Attendance at school meetings, programs, and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by MCEA contract.

Job Specific Information:
Must be available to work 2:00 to 9:30 p.m.;
Spanish fluency preferred; background in hospitality-restaurant teaching preferred. The salary range is $62,558 to $127,334, based on education and experience. Benefits information can be found here.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of two years teaching experience preferred. Experience in developing and administering volunteer and partnership programs required. Certification:
Meets Maryland state certification for secondary education and Work-based Learning Coordinator (WBLC) Certification or within guidelines for certification as per (COMAR).
