The Recreation team is currently seeking a Fitness Class Instructor I, II, or III.
Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing all aspects of the program in a safe manner and environment; must be able to lead, teach, and demonstrate all aspects of activity; responsible for promoting positive public relations and image for the City through appearance, communication, punctuality, etc.
Class Instructor I (Salary: $18.00- $24.00)QUALIFICATIONS/
SKILLS:
1-2 years of training in the subject area; effective communication skills; CPR/First Aid and group fitness certification(s) may be required.
EXPERIENCE:
1 year of teaching experience required; experience with the respective age group preferred.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or G.E.D.
QUALIFICATIONS/
SKILLS:
Three to four years of training in the subject area. Must possess effective communication skills. CPR/First Aid and group fitness certification(s) may be required.
EXPERIENCE:
Two to three years of teaching experience in the subject area.
EDUCATION:
At least two years of college or equivalent.

Three (3) plus years of training/exposure in subject matter; effective communication skills; CPR/First Aid and group fitness certification(s) may be required.
EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) or more years of teaching experience

College graduate
