X-energy is seeking experienced professionals to join our Plant Training team in the role of Specialist, Plant Training. This role focuses on the Plant Field Technician (PFT) program and involves applying the Systematic Approach to Training and the ADDIE training model to transform complex technical data into student‑centered training for nuclear power plant workers. The incumbent will assist operators, technicians, and other plant staff in learning the skills needed to safely operate and maintain the plant while complying with regulations set by regulators, the company, and our suppliers and clients.

• Support team members with the execution of core tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Work with experts to translate technical information, such as diagrams and datasheets, into effective training.
• Improve training programs by using feedback and supporting training committees and audits.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and supplier requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory rules and supplier/client standards.
• Complete all assigned certifications, qualifications, and training.
• Research and stay updated on best practices in adult training.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Instructional Designer:
  Gather technical data, conduct training analyses, design learning goals and various training formats, develop tests and performance evaluations.
• eLearning Developer:
  Create and update self‑paced, instructor‑led, and blended eLearning courses; create tests, evaluate multimedia content, test and rectify eLearning issues.
• Instructor:
  Train students in classroom, workshop, lab, simulator, and on‑the‑job settings; assess performance, provide feedback, contribute to program improvement, and maintain an engaging learning environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Level III:
  Typically five years of general experience.
• Level IV:
  Typically ten years of general experience.
• Level V:
  Typically fifteen years of general experience.
• Previous experience with electrical or I&C maintenance.
• Previous experience as a trainer at a commercial power plant is preferred.

Location: 5303 Spectrum Drive, Suite K, Frederick, MD

Work Site Expectations: 5 days a week in office

Travel Expectations: up to 10% as project requires

Hours: Standard office schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET, Monday‑Friday

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements. Salary ranges may vary by region.

Estimated salary ranges by experience level:

• Level III: $76,725 – $127,875
• Level IV: $109,425 – $182,375
• Level V: $118,575 – $197,625

Position Job Classification: Full time - Exempt
