JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Nuclear Design Inspections (Design Engineer Inspector) in the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Risk Management Solutions for clients such as U.S. NRC - HQ Acquisition Management Division (NRC) | The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Located In CONUS - Washington, DC and across the Mid-Atlantic region Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Design Engineer Inspectors are responsible for conducting design inspections of nuclear power reactor plants. They review design documentation, assess compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and verify the correct implementation of design bases for risk-significant components.

Desired Qualifications For Design Engineer Inspector (NDI2) Candidates:

Design Engineer Inspectors should have at least 5 years experience in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. They need to understand design and safety standards.

Education/Experience Requirements:

A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably in nuclear or mechanical engineering, along with relevant experience in design inspections.
