Where You'll Make an Impact

• Own the company’s capital formation strategy across the Series B and future equity and debt rounds.

• Build, deepen, and manage relationships with VCs, growth equity, PE, strategic investors, sovereign wealth funds, and crossover capital.

• Develop and communicate compelling financial narratives that position Quantum Space as the category leader in in-space logistics and infrastructure.

• Lead investor diligence, financial modeling, structuring, and closing processes in partnership with the CEO, COO, and legal advisors.

• Build and scale the finance organization, implementing systems for forecasting, budgeting, accounting, FP&A, and financial controls.

• Provide strategic financial leadership to guide corporate strategy, resource allocation, unit economics, and long-range planning.

• Identify and secure capital partnerships that accelerate commercial, civil, and defense adoption.

• Track space and defense capital flows, valuations, and investor trends to inform fundraising and strategic planning.

What It Takes

• 10+ years of experience in finance leadership, capital formation, corporate development, venture capital, investment banking, or related fields.

• Demonstrated track record of leading or directly contributing to 100M+ equity raises at Series B or later.

• Deep investor network across space, dual-use, defense tech, and growth equity.

• Prior executive finance or CFO‑track experience in high-growth, hardware‑intensive, deep‑tech, aerospace, or defense organizations preferred.

• Strong operator and investor hybrid background (for example VC or PE experience combined with space or defense operating role).

• Exceptional communication, financial modeling, executive presence, and negotiation skills.
