Aligned Orthopedic Partners, a respected private orthopedic team, is seeking an experienced PRN Radiologic Technologist.

• Explain the procedure to the patient.
• Position the patient properly before imaging.
• Position radiation protection devices such as lead shields.
• Set x‑ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patient's body.
• Set controls on the x‑ray machine to produce x‑rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast.
• Follow the physician's orders precisely.
• Keep patient records and adjust/maintain equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Have an associate’s degree or higher (preferred).
• Have radiologic technologist experience (preferred).
• Possess current Maryland radiologic technologist licensure (required).
• Hold ARRT certification (required).
• Have proven experience conducting X‑rays.
• Be knowledgeable of medical terminology, regulations and medical office procedures.
• Have strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrate appearance, behavior, and communication skills that promote excellent customer service.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations.
• Comply with all OSHA mandates for dosimeter readings and quality assurance.
• Be able to adjust to changing situations.
