Position: Certified Surgical Tech (CST), Day Shift, Operating Room

Overview

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Certified Surgical Tech for our Operating Room who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care
  • Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
  • Prepare the Operating Room with all the necessary supplies
  • Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies
  • Serve as surgical assistant as needed
  • Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments
Qualifications
  • High school or GED required
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified
  • 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 7am–3:30pm plus call

Pay Range: $29.08 - $42.17

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
