About the Role

Join Quality Primary Care as a Receptionist and be the welcoming face of our dedicated team! In this vital role, you will ensure a smooth patient experience while supporting our mission to provide exceptional healthcare in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits efficiently.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Process patient payments and insurance claims accurately.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure a clean, organized reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications
  • Desired: experience working in medical clinic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or reception role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
