Senior Systems Administrator; Cloud

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will provide technical support and systems engineering for the analysis, design, integration, installation, testing and lifecycle support of existing systems.

• Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
• Perform system backups and recovery.
• Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Recommend and help define policies and protocols that lead to efficient operations and improve the integrity of the systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documents, including internal policies, procedures and build instructions.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate work and perform it more efficiently.
• Coordinate with other offices to perform patch management, ensure configuration compliance, and provide asset security.

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
• Must have the following certifications:
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate
  • AWS Solution Architect Professional
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology Service Management.
• Experience with AWS cloud hosting.
