Junior Devops Engineer

Razor is looking for a Junior Dev Ops Engineer for a long‑term, 100% remote, federal government‑contracted opportunity. A Public Trust Security Clearance is required.

As a Jr. Dev Ops Engineer you will use your experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to production monitoring. You will lead efforts to incorporate open‑source tools, automation, and cloud resources to eliminate tedious tasks and enable the team to focus on innovation. You will implement continuous integration and delivery to reduce manual testing and troubleshooting. This role provides an opportunity to expand your skills in automation, cloud‑based development, and open‑source tools.

As a technical leader you will identify new opportunities to build solutions that help customers meet their toughest challenges.

This role requires participation in an on‑call rotation. Staff must be able to respond to calls on a 24/7 basis. Each rotation lasts one week, and staff is on call every 4 to 6 weeks depending on team size.

• 1+ year supporting Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration
• 1+ year administering container platforms:
  Docker, Open Shift, Kubernetes, and/or EKS
• 1+ year advanced scripting experience, including infrastructure as code and custom scripts with Ansible, Python, Bash, and Terraform
• Experience with a complex build system
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field

• Experience developing back‑end software applications
• Experience leveraging cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) to create automated Dev Sec Ops  pipelines
• Experience configuring an Open Search cluster and managing index lifecycle
• Knowledge of security scanning tools, configuring usage, and collaborating with teams to fix vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of Java
