Senior AI Engineer
A global leader in life sciences technology is seeking a full‑time Senior AI Engineer to join their growing AI initiatives team. This team specializes in innovative assays and instruments that support medical research and drug development. You’ll be working with forward‑thinking professionals to build intelligent systems powered by modern AI technologies in a cloud‑native environment.
This is a chance to get in early on transformative LLM‑based technology that will define the future of biomedical research support tools. You’ll be joining a tight‑knit, collaborative team with one existing LLM specialist and several team members supporting their AI initiatives. The company is looking for someone with strong hands‑on Python skills, a deep understanding of retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), vector search, and a solid grasp of prompt engineering and in‑context learning.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- Strong Python programming experience in production environments
- Experience implementing RAG systems and vector search
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and in‑context learning
- Experience with AWS services, particularly Bedrock and Sage Maker
- Bachelor’s (5+ years), Master’s (3+ years), or PhD (1+ year) in a relevant field
- Experience with web frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins

Daily Responsibilities
- 80% Hands‑On Engineering and Implementation
- 10% Collaboration with AI and Infrastructure Team
- 10% Cross‑functional Communication and Strategy
