Associate Attorney

Momentum Law Group serves as outside general counsel to small and mid-sized companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We work closely with business owners and leadership teams on corporate and transactional matters, employment issues, commercial real estate, and related business needs. This is an on‑site associate attorney role based in our Rockville, Maryland office. The role is primarily focused on supporting the firm’s business law practice through strong drafting, research, and analysis. You will assist with a range of matters across corporate, employment, commercial real estate, and other business‑related issues, with a particular emphasis on preparing and revising agreements and thinking through legal and practical considerations for clients.

We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating, asks good questions, and takes pride in doing careful, high‑quality work. Prior experience is helpful, but not required for the right person. Salary will be dependent on experience and will range from $75K to $110K. Malpractice and mandatory bar dues will be paid for by the firm.

• JD from an accredited law school and active member (in good standing) of the Maryland, DC or VA Bars
• Strong writing skills and the ability to think clearly and logically about legal and business issues
• Comfortable working across a variety of subject areas and a genuine desire to learn
• Professional, kind, and respectful in working with clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage multiple matters at once while staying organized and responsive
