Brief Job Overview:
Leadership role in DSCP reporting to the Senior Vice President, DSCP. Manage Expert Volunteer Operations, including engagement, committee management, and standards of conduct. Transform processes for quality, efficiency, and transparency.

• Lead expert volunteer processes, standards of conduct, and committee management. Enhance volunteer experience while ensuring integrity of USP standard‑setting process.
• Provide leadership to functions supporting expert volunteers, global science leadership, Legal, and others to support ongoing standard‑setting processes, policies, and associated activities.
• Represent the Science Division in cross‑functional initiatives, provide consultation and insights into USP’s expert volunteer activities.
• Oversee compendial stakeholder activities and manage USP’s interactions with compendial stakeholders (industry and others).
• Maintain and update applicable SOPs and other process documents and templates.
• Perform all other duties including special projects as requested or assigned.

• Minimum 11‑13 years in government/regulatory or related field.
• Minimum 3 years people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships and influence culture with all levels of people in an organization.
• Experience managing conflict of interest or ensuring the integrity of processes and systems.
• Knowledge of Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic laws, regulations, and guidance.

• Master’s or higher degree in health, science, or law.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.

Base Salary Range: USD $ – $ annually. Target Annual Bonus: varies based on level of role.
