Qualifications for the (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered with the state as a GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant.
Responsibilities as a (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant:
- Provide safe daily resident care.
- Transport and assist in ambulating residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe resident unit.
- Bathe, dress, and feed residents.
- Document and communicate resident care information.
- Promote and support positive guest relations to all visitors and residents.
