Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Vent Unit
Join our team at Collingswood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center as the Assistant Director of Nursing for our Ventilation Unit. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday. This role is facilitated by Marquis Health Consulting Services.
Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning all aspects of nursing operations, including setting priorities and job assignments.
- Act as care champion for our dialysis den.
- Monitor unit activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and assist in coaching and discipline as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical team.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, coordination with support services, cleanliness, appearance, and staff morale, ensuring residents' needs are met proactively.
- Carry out, coordinate, and manage administrative functions in nursing services.
- Valid, unencumbered RN State license.
- RN degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting.
- Experience in supervision, teaching, or related practice.
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills to tactfully deal with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies and the public.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of residents served.
- Supportive team member, contributing to and exemplifying teamwork.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
