Job Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients. The LPN will bring valuable experience, especially in senior living or skilled nursing environments, to contribute to the well‑being and comfort of individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments.
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in senior living or skilled nursing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of LTAC protocols and procedures.
