Research Analyst

Work Location:

Hybrid (Remote/In-Office), Rockville, MD

The Research Analyst supports senior research staff on government and nonprofit research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods. This entry-level role offers hands‑on experience and growth opportunities using tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, and NVivo.

• Support research plans and ensure high‑quality outcomes
• Data entry, coding, cleaning, and data management
• Conduct primary data collection and secondary data analysis
• Literature and document reviews; synthesize findings
• Run descriptive and inferential statistics
• Build and maintain datasets
• Prepare tables, figures, and visualizations
• Assist with journal articles and conference presentations
• Document research procedures and follow protocols

• Bachelor's degree in social science or related field
• Experience with SPSS, STATA, R, or similar tools
• NVivo experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
• Strong analytical, communication, and time‑management skills
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
