As a Security Officer - Flex Perimeter Patrol in Rockville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment.

• Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at government locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
