Job Description

Mr. Electricians of Maryland is looking to hire a Lead Electrician Journeyman/Foreman to supervise at job sites and work directly with a project manager in order to ensure timely and proper completion of projects.

A Lead Journeyman/Foreman earns $60,000-$120,000 per year, depending on skill and experience. • Troubleshooting problems and providing solutions on job site.
• Ordering necessary materials for job.
• Training and guidance of apprentice/helper.
• Coordinating electrical work with other subcontractors.
• Delegating tasks to team on site.
• Writing up service tickets for work done outside of the scope of the project.
• Responding to emergency power and backup system failures on site.
• Supervising and completing issues that inspector notes.

• High School diploma or GED
• Journeyman license with 4+ years’ experience in electrical field
• Must have valid driver’s license, and good driving record
• Must successfully pass background check
• Service Fusion a plus
• Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and contracts
• Team leading skills such as delegation of tasks, communication skills, and ability to teach your team.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of current NEC codes
• Problem solving skills required for troubleshooting any problems on site
• Applicable state certifications and licenses
