Job Title: Maintenance Generalist II
Job Type: Full‑time
Shift: Evening Shift – 11 am to 7 pm, M‑F, working every 6th weekend as part of a rotation, and on call overnight every 6th week.
Salary Range: $28.75 – $35.75 an hour (Competitive salary, based on your unique skills, experience, and professional background.)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) or more years of related experience in maintenance, boiler plant, and HVAC equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of refrigeration, boilers, electrical, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations; familiarity with supplies and equipment used in maintenance and engineering preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams (a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina (ability to stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Maintenance Operations & Facilities Care – Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment as needed.

• Perform other repairs, replacements, and installations which may include drywall, plumbing, electrical, light bulbs, fixtures and ballasts, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, washer/dryer, household appliances, water tower, chiller equipment, commercial kitchen, medical equipment, fan coil units, heating units, televisions, and physical therapy equipment.
• Participate in external and internal community and equipment painting.
• Perform journeyman‑level maintenance and repair work across NLCS communities including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, facilities, and equipment.
• Perform boiler room operations and maintenance; maintain storage room maintenance.
• Conduct chemical water testing for boilers, chill water, and cooling towers.
• Perform other duties as required.
