Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician with commercial building maintenance experience. The role involves working within specialized teams for each trade, under the guidance of a lead or supervisor who reports to the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment to detect routine malfunctions, reading meters and gauges, performing tests, recording data, and undertaking miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- General facilities maintenance including plumbing repairs, HVAC preventative maintenance, painting and patching walls, repairing ceiling tiles, leak detection and repair, hanging signage, fixing locks and doors, etc.
- Inspect equipment to detect routine malfunctions.
- Read meters and gauges.
- Perform tests and record data.
- Execute miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Maryland Master or Journeyman Plumber License.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 2-3 years of commercial building maintenance experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
