MSC is currently searching for a Python Programmer to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This opportunity is permanent, full-time, and it is on site in Bethesda/Rockville, MD.

A contract position at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). NCBI uses the web to advance science and health by providing free access to biomedical and genomic information, and as a result it is one of the top 400 most visited sites in the world. NCBI is home to projects such as Pub Med. It is part of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, located in Bethesda, Maryland.

NCBI is a large, diverse group of smart and talented people with various backgrounds, but deeply technical, who collaborate in building useful tools and services for the public.

• Help build the core components of a number of web projects, back-end processing and infrastructure
• Be running core services
• Have an opportunity to research, evaluate and deploy new technologies
  • Have an opportunity to write a lot of advanced-level, high-quality, production-grade code and share some of it publicly
