Overview

Teph Seal Auto Appearance, a privately‑held company that operates detail/reconditioning centers in auto dealerships across the United States, is hiring detail specialists to provide high‑quality service and maintain vehicle cleanliness. The role requires a fast‑paced work environment, exemplary customer service, and detail‑oriented skills.

• Wash exterior vehicles using various cleaning solutions.
• Wax and buff vehicles with cloths or buffing machines.
• Vacuum interior to remove dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery and surfaces, and apply preservation chemicals to protect against spots and stains.
• Clean engine compartments and remove grease.
• Use different dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management due to operational needs.
• Adhere to OSHA‑approved cleaning products and maintain safety standards.

• Physically demanding; requires frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and movement with vehicles.
• Outdoor work with varying climate conditions.
• May require handling up to 50 lbs.
• Must work with a sense of urgency and meet customer time expectations.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.
• Read and comprehend instructions.
• Desire to treat each customer’s personal vehicle with great care and respect.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
• Availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as needed.
